A Peek at Christmas!

So I have been trying to dig my way out of the Christmas presents.  I have really enjoyed making these gifts this year!!  Since I can't show off everything I have done so far (I don't want to ruin the surprise!) I am going to wait until after Christmas to post most of my projects, but I do have 2 different projects I can share.   I will be giving these to my kids!

The first is a bag I made for them to carry books/coloring books for in the car and when we go to church.

The second is a car caddy I made for my little guy.  I am really happy with how this came out!

I did use my Cricut on this project.  I cut out the numbers 1-6 on freezer paper and ironed it on to the fabric to make a template to paint the numbers on.

I'll be back soon with some more projects!

Out of the Ordinary

Okay, so it isn't made out of paper, but I am SO excited about my find the other night!!  While at Walmart doing my grocery shopping I walked past the crafting aisles and a clearance tag caught my eye.  I have been wanting one of these for the longest time, and so I just had to have it!!  For only $40, I came home with this!!

So, of course I had to try it out.  I have been wanted to make this for a while now, and by no means am I a any good at using a sewing machine, but it turned out okay!  I also just used material I had (which isn't much!).  I am going to make another once I find some more material.  These will be great for coloring in the car on our road trip this summer!
