A Peek at Christmas!

So I have been trying to dig my way out of the Christmas presents.  I have really enjoyed making these gifts this year!!  Since I can't show off everything I have done so far (I don't want to ruin the surprise!) I am going to wait until after Christmas to post most of my projects, but I do have 2 different projects I can share.   I will be giving these to my kids!

The first is a bag I made for them to carry books/coloring books for in the car and when we go to church.

The second is a car caddy I made for my little guy.  I am really happy with how this came out!

I did use my Cricut on this project.  I cut out the numbers 1-6 on freezer paper and ironed it on to the fabric to make a template to paint the numbers on.

I'll be back soon with some more projects!

Messy

I was able to get together with a friend yesterday to do some scrapping.  It was so much fun and this is what came out of it!  I would call it a successful day!  I was finally able to bust out my My Big Ideas boy stack that I got for Christmas last year.  I LOVE this stack of paper.  It has the cutest boy papers!  I also used CM circle cutters for the red circles, title was Mickey font, and spots on the title were made using Everyday Paper dolls cartridge.  Love how this came out!

Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat

I am lucky enough to be able to spend a weekend twice a year at a scrapbooking retreat with my mom and some good friends.  I felt productive this year as I was able to almost finish my daughter's 2008 photos (I did come home and do the last 2 pages a few nights later!).  Here are the pages I was able to get done:

I used Gypsy Font for the title and creative memory circle punches for the circle.  The papers are from the DCWV Christmas Stack

The title is from the Mickey Mouse Font and the papers are from the DCWV Green Stack (LOVE this stack).

I used Prima flowers in the corners with skittle centers.  The birds are cut from paper in the Green Stack.  The little girl die cut is A Child's Year.

Paper here is again from the Green Stack.  Title is cut using the Sesame Street font.  Hand is cut using A Child's Year.

Title is welded together using the Gypsy using the Mickey Font.  Beach scene is cut from A Child's Year.  Paper is from a new stack I just picked up from DCWV Summer Dream Stack.

The title here is Mickey Font again.  The paper is from the Summer Dream stack.  The flower in the corner is a Prima glitter flower.

This is one of my favorites from this weekend.  The paper is from the DCWV Christmas stack and the present is from Doodlecharms. I don't remember exactly, but I believe the title was cut using 2 different fonts off the Lyrical Letters Cartridge.

The paper is again from the Christmas Stack.  The snowflakes are cut from Winter Woodland and then pop dotted.  The title is cut from Lyrical Letters.

Again, Christmas Stack paper and the title is cut from Winter Woodland.  Buttons are glued down in the bottom corner.

The title was make using the Gypsy and mini gel pens.  I replaced the blade in the Cricut with a mini gel pen using a pencil gripper to hold it in place.  Once the lettering was drawn I put the blade back in to cut the circle.  Paper is from the Green Stack.

And my last one using the Green Stack again for the papers.  The middle picture was pop dotted to give dimension.  The title was made using the Zooballoo font.

I am excited to be done with her 2008 pictures.  Now it's time to move on to my son's 2008!

Please?

Another LO from Gatlinburg. I used the DCWV Green stack again with this LO. Mickey Mouse Font was used for the title and Storybook was used for the butterfly. The journaling box edge is a Martha Stewart edge punch.

Wonderworks

This LO sat on my desk for a few weeks while I finished up making baby books, mom's day gifts, and teacher gifts. I used the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack for the patterned paper. Title is made with the Mickey Mouse Font and flowers are Primas.

1st Day of Preschool

This was a fun LO to do. I used Mickey Font for the title and Everyday paper dolls for the school bus. The flower is pop dotted to give dimension and is cut from Accent Essentials. Paper is a stack that I adore by My Minds Eye!
