Cards, Cards, and More Cards!

I made these cards to send to my gram for her Christmas present this year.  Many of the ideas for the cards where found on different crafting websites, and some from magazines.  I am happy with how most of them turned out.  Most of them have cuts from various cricut cartridges on them.  If you are wondering which one, just ask and I will let you know!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Halloween!

I had a lot of fun making this page.  I found the Halloween paper at the Target $ spot.  I thought it was too cute to pass up!  I used Jack Sprat Lyrical Letters for the title along with some stickers I have had forever.  The ribbon I believe I got at the target $ spot a while back also.  I used my cuttlebug to cut and emboss the spider and bats on the right hand page.

Funny Boy

Here is an updated version of my Funny Boy LO.  I wasn't feeling as though it was finished before, so I played around with it a little more.  I decided to add stitching to some of the circles and added one more circle to fill in the emptiness on the right hand side.

Funny Boy

The other night a few friend of mine got together and I made a few pages.  Here is one that I did that night, and I am feeling like it needs something else.  What do you think?  Title font is Lyrical Letters, paper is from the My Big Ideas Boy stack and circles were made with the Creative memories circle cutters.  Very simplistic page, but does it need more?

Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat

I am lucky enough to be able to spend a weekend twice a year at a scrapbooking retreat with my mom and some good friends.  I felt productive this year as I was able to almost finish my daughter's 2008 photos (I did come home and do the last 2 pages a few nights later!).  Here are the pages I was able to get done:

I used Gypsy Font for the title and creative memory circle punches for the circle.  The papers are from the DCWV Christmas Stack

The title is from the Mickey Mouse Font and the papers are from the DCWV Green Stack (LOVE this stack).

I used Prima flowers in the corners with skittle centers.  The birds are cut from paper in the Green Stack.  The little girl die cut is A Child's Year.

Paper here is again from the Green Stack.  Title is cut using the Sesame Street font.  Hand is cut using A Child's Year.

Title is welded together using the Gypsy using the Mickey Font.  Beach scene is cut from A Child's Year.  Paper is from a new stack I just picked up from DCWV Summer Dream Stack.

The title here is Mickey Font again.  The paper is from the Summer Dream stack.  The flower in the corner is a Prima glitter flower.

This is one of my favorites from this weekend.  The paper is from the DCWV Christmas stack and the present is from Doodlecharms. I don't remember exactly, but I believe the title was cut using 2 different fonts off the Lyrical Letters Cartridge.

The paper is again from the Christmas Stack.  The snowflakes are cut from Winter Woodland and then pop dotted.  The title is cut from Lyrical Letters.

Again, Christmas Stack paper and the title is cut from Winter Woodland.  Buttons are glued down in the bottom corner.

The title was make using the Gypsy and mini gel pens.  I replaced the blade in the Cricut with a mini gel pen using a pencil gripper to hold it in place.  Once the lettering was drawn I put the blade back in to cut the circle.  Paper is from the Green Stack.

And my last one using the Green Stack again for the papers.  The middle picture was pop dotted to give dimension.  The title was made using the Zooballoo font.

I am excited to be done with her 2008 pictures.  Now it's time to move on to my son's 2008!

Mother's Day

So I didn't do a traditional mom's day gift this year. I had been trying to decide how I wanted to make one of these birthday reminder books since I heard my mom mention she needed something like this months ago. This is what I came up with (not all pages shown). I used the Green Stack by DCWV (which I love!) and Lyrical Letters for the fonts. The owl on the front cover came from Storybook. All cuts were designed in design studio before cutting.

A Place to call Home

Okay, so I have been MIA for a while. I was in a bit of a crafty funk, or maybe I was just way to busy/exhausted to get anything accomplished. Which ever it was, I finally got something made. Hope you like it!

I wanted to try making these flowers that I saw in the Scrapbooking, Etc. magazine last month. They did a neat article on a few different ways to use your scraps to make different flowers. I really like the looks of this one so I went ahead and tried it out. I like the outcome! I used Lyrical Letters for the title of the page and used my Martha Stewart border punch for the border piece under the picture. The text box is an Autumn Leaves Stampology stamp from a set of journaling stamps. I added some little pearls attached with glue dots to the bottom.

Add Another Candle

This was such a FUN page to create!! I used Lyrical Letters to cut the title of the page, Winter Woodland for the scalloped circles, and A Child's Year for the cupcakes. I used Stickles glitter glue on the frosting of the cupcakes to make them sparkle. I used the VersaMark watermark ink and studio g stamps to create a pattern behind the title. I also added some rub-ons (don't know the brand).

Happy Birthday Ariana!

This is a birthday card I made for my niece's birthday. The flower was cut using Lyrical Letters 5 different times and then layered. I hand cut the stem and leaf. She loved the card!

Cloe Mae

Here is a page I made today. I used the Cricut Cartridge Lyrical Letters (Jack Sprat font) to do the title. Various papers and embellishments. Still might play with this one a bit, anyone have any suggestions to what I could add?
